The national standard for paper cups (GB / 27590-2011) was officially implemented on June 1, 2012. The new national standard fundamentally puts forward higher requirements for raw materials, additives, packaging and printing of paper cups than industry standards. For example, there are strict regulations on the printing position of the cup mouth and bottom: "the cup mouth shall not be printed within 15mm from the cup body and the cup bottom shall not be printed within 10mm from the cup body", which can avoid consumers from eating the ink printed on the outer package of the paper cup when using the disposable paper cup, so as to improve the use safety of the paper cup.
Experts said that when consumers choose disposable paper cups, they should first look at the appearance, and the packaging should not be damaged. Try to choose a paper cup with thick and rigid wall. When buying, you can squeeze it gently on both sides of the cup by hand to roughly know the stiffness of the cup body. Secondly, look at the signs. The product packaging should indicate the name and address of the manufacturer, the executive standard of the product, production date, validity period, etc. For paper cups with incomplete marks, be careful to buy them. Finally, it depends on the merchants. Try to go to large shopping malls and supermarkets and choose those produced by large enterprises.
